Welcome to St. Philip's Preschool!

Can you believe it’s already October? We've had an AWESOME first month of school. Everyone is settling into their classroom routines nicely.  

Our theme for October is "Weather All Around Us". Along with all the learning fun we have a number of extra activities throughout the month you’ll want to make note of. 


October 4th and 5th Fall individual pictures.

October 5th - PTO meeting

October 6th NO SCHOOL  - Staff Development

October 9th   is Columbus day. NO SCHOOL

October 10th and 11thSchool wide Pajama Day!  We will be finishing our Creation lesson and would love for everyone to wear PJs on Day 7.  

October 11th - Spirit Night at Jason's Deli on Eldorado and The Tollway from 5:00-9:00.  Jason's will donate back 15%!!

October 13th -  Our 4 year old and TK classes will be visiting the pumpkin patch.  If you have a child in that age group you should have received information. If you have not, please speak with your child’s teacher. These students will not have class on this day.   

October 30th and 31st  is our All Heroes Parade!! The children will be dressing up as a community or historical/Biblical heroes and parading around the courtyard. NO villains or scary costumes allowed!! The parade will start at 9:00 following Chapel. 

PTO News - 

Our Fall Festival is coming up on Nov. 4 from 1:30-4:30.  The Fall Festival is a treasured preschool tradition and helps raise money for school programs and scholarships. Don't miss your chance to enjoy fun for the whole family: Bounce Houses, Games, Prizes, Food, Live Music, and Silent Auction items.  Tickets on sale soon.

We will have our first Bright Futures Fund drawing on October 16.  If you haven't signed up we have extended the deadline.  Please consider contributing to the fund to help children in our community attend our wonderful school!  Forms are located at the information center to the right of the front doors. If you are not sure if you are already signed up please contact Tammie and she can let you know.
